These terms apply to your use of Maps for Math (mapsformath.com), published by Monroe Automatic (“we”, “us”). By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

What the site is for

Maps for Math is a free educational resource. Its exhibits, calculators, chains, and printable exports are meant to help you learn math and make estimates.

Not professional advice

Results are for learning and estimation only. They are not engineering, electrical, financial, medical, legal, or other professional advice. Real situations involve factors an exhibit may leave out, such as temperature, tolerances, material differences, and local rules. Before relying on a result for design, construction, electrical work, purchases, or anything that affects safety, check it against the applicable codes and standards and have it reviewed by a qualified professional.

No warranty

We work to keep the math correct and test it carefully, but the site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee the site will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Monroe Automatic is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or property, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its results. Where liability can’t be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the site, which is zero.

Using and sharing content

• You may use the site and its exports for personal study, teaching, and classroom use. Teachers may print and hand out exports and print cards to students.
• You may link to any page and share board, chain, and exhibit links freely.
• You may not copy the site wholesale, republish its exhibits or text as your own, or sell its content without our written permission.
• The site’s text, graphics, code, and design are owned by Monroe Automatic. Mathematical facts and formulas themselves belong to everyone.

Acceptable use

Please don’t attempt to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or interfere with its ads, for example through invalid clicks.

Third-party content

The site may show ads, embedded videos, and affiliate links from third parties. We don’t control and aren’t responsible for their content, products, or policies. Our Privacy Policy explains how these services may use information.

Changes

We may update the site and these terms at any time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
